The Doctor Is Out

Riiiiiiiiing.

Riiiiiiiiiing.

Click.

"Thank you for calling Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital Diagnostics Department. We are currently unable to figure out why you have heart problems in your brain or why you are pooping out a lung. As we are all out of the office we also can't begin to fathom why you are bleeding out of your fingernails or have a bad rash...there. We'll be back in the office on Monday, September 21, 2009. Well, some of us will. Others will be trying to exorcise their demons in a variety of methods. Let's hope it works. Again, thank you for calling, but please call back in the fall. Don't bother leaving a message. Even Dr. Cameron is away on her honeymoon. Beeeeeeeeeep."

Stay tuned for recaps. I have signed on for the House MD recap gig on http://www.spoilertv-house.blogspot.com/ beginning in September. I'll add thoughts here now and again but I'm excited for the opportunity. Maybe now someone will read something I've written.....

Awesome Huddy moment between Hugh and Lisa

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AR4K7yA3jrc

Check out this video from the Paley Center for the Media on June 17, 2009.

Now, I've heard the rumors of HughandLisa but I don't believe them. I know for a fact you can be totally attracted to someone, have huge amounts of sparks and still remain friends. Completely possible. Still, it's fun to see them interact and spark off each other. It is what makes the Huddy relationship so darn believable and fun.

My jaw is still on the floor.

Man, I've watched the season's finale again and again and each time I catch new different things. I see how when he looks at the lipstick this eerie music plays. I understand how the conversations between him and Cuddy relate to all situations, both real and imagined. I am frustrated that House admits to Wilson AND HIMSELF FINALLY, that he is in love with Cuddy and wants to change to have a relationship with her only to have the catalyst for that decision turn out to be a trick of his disintegrating mind. AHHHHH. I cannot wait til September. Bravo, Katie and David and Hugh and Lisa and Robert and everyone else, Bravo!

Oh Crap...

Man, I am a depressed puppy right now. On so many levels. The episode was a bit confusing and I had to watch it three times to finally get my head around all of it. Sheesh. No Huddy. No Happiness for House. The whole show was about commitment, eh? Cameron's commitment to Chase and vice versa. The POTW's right brain commitment to the POTW. House's acceptance of commitment to a Huddy, only to have it dashed on the rocks of pyschosis and Wilson's commitment to House as a friend and supporter. Sheesh again. Great episode although the Huddy Fan in me is so sad, but not as sad as House was. Yeah, Kutner. So now we wait. We wait and speculate on what's to come. My theories: House, who decided in 5x24 that he wanted be the man with Cuddy rather than the man with the answers tries to become the man Cuddy would want to be with. Unfortunately, this is while he's in the sterile, non-world of the psychiatric hospital. Once he's let loose on the world I don't see how TPTB will ever let him succeed. I guess I'm just hoping for brief taste of success. I'm thinking his past abuse from his father comes into play. I'm dying to know how much House told Cuddy of his hallucination with her..... hmmmmm. Maybe Wilson will clue her in. A nice way to end the season I think. And now I must pine for 4 months. Yeah, I'm a depressed puppy right now.....

Yeah, baby....

Wow, my friends...what an episode. And what an acting tour de force for Mr. Hugh Laurie. That whole episode was amazing and the level of skill in writing and acting again fantastic. It did seem like the writers were trying to shove a whole bunch of stuff into this episode but having watched all season I followed along very well. My favorite parts: House and Amber conversing as though everyone has a hallucination for a friend; House hearing and seeing Amber in the bar (very cool and creepy); Wilson riding into the rescue; House being open and honest with Cuddy; and then, of course, House getting himself a little bit o' Cuddy, baby. Wow. In typical House fashion it looks like happiness is fleeting and all will go to heck in a handbasket tomorrow night. Doesn't matter. I'll be sitting in front of the tv ready to hold onto the handle. Wheeeeeee.

Wow...what a show!

Man, I just watched House "A House Divided" again and man what a great show it was! Classic House through and through. I can't even begin to tell you all my favorite scenes as just about everyone rocked. I could have done without 13 and the body shot scene, but we did get a good Wilson moment so it's give and take, I guess. What a fine actor Hugh Laurie is. He doesn't even need words to tell a story. That scene at the end with House asking Cuddy for sleeping pills and his struggle with "himself/Amber." Man....Anne Dudek was amazing too. She was near tears, which means House himself was near tears inside in that scene. It's cool to go back through the episode and see it all specifically tuned into the fact that everything Amber says is House's psyche bouncing off itself. Man, poor House is more messed up then we all thought, eh?

The preview for next week's episode got me WAY excited. The bad news is I'll have to wait another two days longer to see it since I'll be in New York City on vacatio, but that's the good news!

My predictions: House tries to shut himself off completely and deal with his hallucinations at home but finally comes in for help. I'm thinking Cuddy goes to his house to find him and he puts the moves on her. I hope it's not another hallucination.....We been teased that something will happen between House and Cuddy, but we've been lied to before. Harumph. I replayed the preview in slow-mo and it looks like House falls in his bathroom and Cuddy is the one running in to help him. They have more clothes on in the "You want to kiss me" exchange so maybe the kiss comes first? Don't know. Can't wait to find out. Talk to you later!
