My jaw is still on the floor.

Man, I've watched the season's finale again and again and each time I catch new different things. I see how when he looks at the lipstick this eerie music plays. I understand how the conversations between him and Cuddy relate to all situations, both real and imagined. I am frustrated that House admits to Wilson AND HIMSELF FINALLY, that he is in love with Cuddy and wants to change to have a relationship with her only to have the catalyst for that decision turn out to be a trick of his disintegrating mind. AHHHHH. I cannot wait til September. Bravo, Katie and David and Hugh and Lisa and Robert and everyone else, Bravo!

Oh Crap...

Man, I am a depressed puppy right now. On so many levels. The episode was a bit confusing and I had to watch it three times to finally get my head around all of it. Sheesh. No Huddy. No Happiness for House. The whole show was about commitment, eh? Cameron's commitment to Chase and vice versa. The POTW's right brain commitment to the POTW. House's acceptance of commitment to a Huddy, only to have it dashed on the rocks of pyschosis and Wilson's commitment to House as a friend and supporter. Sheesh again. Great episode although the Huddy Fan in me is so sad, but not as sad as House was. Yeah, Kutner. So now we wait. We wait and speculate on what's to come. My theories: House, who decided in 5x24 that he wanted be the man with Cuddy rather than the man with the answers tries to become the man Cuddy would want to be with. Unfortunately, this is while he's in the sterile, non-world of the psychiatric hospital. Once he's let loose on the world I don't see how TPTB will ever let him succeed. I guess I'm just hoping for brief taste of success. I'm thinking his past abuse from his father comes into play. I'm dying to know how much House told Cuddy of his hallucination with her..... hmmmmm. Maybe Wilson will clue her in. A nice way to end the season I think. And now I must pine for 4 months. Yeah, I'm a depressed puppy right now.....

Yeah, baby....

Wow, my friends...what an episode. And what an acting tour de force for Mr. Hugh Laurie. That whole episode was amazing and the level of skill in writing and acting again fantastic. It did seem like the writers were trying to shove a whole bunch of stuff into this episode but having watched all season I followed along very well. My favorite parts: House and Amber conversing as though everyone has a hallucination for a friend; House hearing and seeing Amber in the bar (very cool and creepy); Wilson riding into the rescue; House being open and honest with Cuddy; and then, of course, House getting himself a little bit o' Cuddy, baby. Wow. In typical House fashion it looks like happiness is fleeting and all will go to heck in a handbasket tomorrow night. Doesn't matter. I'll be sitting in front of the tv ready to hold onto the handle. Wheeeeeee.
